Waterproofing Terms and Conditions

The Grand Total is inclusive of Masking, Labor, Material, and Post cleaning. It does not include applicable GST @18%, which is extra.

Payment Stages – as per the Annexure.

Rates quoted in the referenced Estimate will hold firm until the assignment is complete or till expiry of three months of the offer, whichever is earlier.

All Material used will be Genuine as per the Estimate/ Work Order.

All work methodologies followed shall be as per the described SOPs of the WP Material Manufacturer/ SOP of the WP Industry.

Good housekeeping shall be of high priority on an everyday basis.

One official CARE WhatsApp group (CWG) shall be created to update regularly on the progress and assistance needed for coordination internally within the customer’s premise. Customers are requested to actively engage for approvals, final Quality Checks, etc., and escalate in the CWG if they notice deviations in timelines, behavior, or work quality.

Kindly mention the Deal ID (stated in the top left of this Estimate) while making an online Payment. And share the payment ref details in the Whatsapp Group without fail. Please ensure to make payments ONLY as per the details given in paintmywalls.in/payment-options. Any other payments/ payment modes shall not be considered, for whatsoever reasons or rationale.

Ours is a comprehensive warranty for Waterproofing, which means we take entire ownership of the work done by us, irrespective of which company (OEM) material has been used by us or whether there was a flaw in application process. We stand by our commitment for the stated warranty period and shall repair end to end at our cost, for the stated period. Post warranty period, any issues shall be quoted afresh.

The above warranty shall be applicable only for the ‘normal wear and tear,’ akin to a typical aging of property. It shall not cover any ‘new’ cracks or other deficiencies clearly happening beyond our scope attempted or for any bigger or major issues which may come up over the course of time, including but not limited to natural issues like earthquakes, seismic shifts, etc., or any external man-made issues like major drilling vibrations or bombings, etc.

Our quotations are very specific to the work to be executed. Seepage issues, unlike other issues, generally happen below the surface which cannot be analysed based on visual observations alone. Our quotations are based on visual clues combined with years of experience and expertise, which may cover 95% to 99% of the cases. In few of the exceptional seepage issues, the impact may show up at some other place from the ‘actual source,’ or seepage may happen because of some hidden or seemingly unrelated reasons/issues. Some of these may become evident in the due course of our work. Should any additional remedial repairs need to be undertaken that could not be seen or perceived prior to the work commencing, we shall bring it to the notice of the client and proceed post approval. In such cases, an additional quotation may be submitted.

Scaffolding charges will be extra as per actual (If applicable).

In all cases of waterproofing, we expect the “normal expected” strength of the surfaces – walls, tiles, etc. – wherever waterproofing needs to happen. For example, if the cement surface on which WP shall be applied has lost its strength, then this substrate strength has to be corrected first. Similarly, if water body tiles’ strength or adhesion strength (with the base wall) is not good enough to sustain the pressure of the grouting pump pressure, a few tiles may break or come out and will be considered as collateral damage, i.e., not related directly to this work scope.

Once the job has been started, it cannot be canceled. If a partially completed job has to be stopped, the Company shall charge 1.5 times the job completed till then.

The client shall engage in coordination with neighbors, Association, etc., and provide us uninterrupted work front clearance and go-ahead. Any loss of time because of a lack of permission, preparedness may be chargeable, if it is beyond ‘normal’ limits.

The client shall clearly outline the high-tension wires (and any other known potentially dangerous issues) and should instruct PMW supervisors accordingly, from the view of the safety of the workers in general.

All nearby costly fixtures shall be masked while working. Please discuss with the Sales Executive/ Supervisor for such needs/ expectations beforehand.

All related works where pipes/ power cables/ cable trays/ other lines/ trees/ plants/ heavy/ fixed items which are attached or very close to the wall or work area are not easily accessible; all such cases should be discussed beforehand and may need active engagement of the customer to clear/ remove such hindrances from the area to be waterproofed.

Though Paint My Walls does proper background checks of its painters, please take special care/ keep your costly belongings safely. No costly items or cash should be lying in and around the work area. We do not have safety provisions to contain such unwanted mischiefs.

Like any other manual job, there may be some collateral damage; please keep the supervisor appraised of any special attention needed before the start of the project.

The client should provide water, electricity & a separate area/ room to store materials at FOC.

Paint My Walls will take care of all safety measures, accessories for laborers who work on-site. Each laborer working at the site is fully covered and insured, and the customer shall bear zero liability towards any accident on their premise.
