Job Description

Position Overview:

ICAN Nano is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The BDM will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving business growth across South India.

This position requires a male candidate who is willing to travel extensively, possesses excellent communication skills in South Indian languages, and demonstrates a strong ability to build and nurture partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Expansion: Drive business development initiatives to expand ICAN Nano’s market presence in South India, focusing on establishing a strong foothold in key cities and regions.
  2. Partnership Building: Identify, approach, and build strategic partnerships with dealers, distributors, and other key stakeholders to increase product reach and sales channels.
  3. Regional Travel Flexibility – “Ability to travel extensively throughout the various states and cities in South India, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.”
  4. Multilingual Communication: Communicate fluently in South Indian languages to effectively engage with local partners, customers, and stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas, present proposals, and engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  5. Professional Etiquette: Exhibit professionalism and strong local etiquettes in all interactions, representing ICAN Nano positively and professionally at all times.
  6. Accountability: Take ownership of business development activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior management.
  7. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, identify business opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
  8. Problem-Solving Abilities: Capacity to identify challenges and develop innovative solutions to overcome obstacles and achieve business objectives.
  9. Networking Skills: Strong networking abilities to build and maintain relationships with key industry players, influencers, and decision-makers.
  10. Education and Qualifications: Minimum educational qualification of 12th pass, with relevant experience in business development or sales roles preferred.

– Smart and presentable appearance.

– Willingness to travel extensively across South India, state-wise.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

– Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.

– Proven track record of achieving targets and driving business growth.
